Homeschool Update

I am as excited as Daniel and Adalynn are!! We are reading!!!!! YEAH!!! It has been a marathon, but I see the finish line.

I also am excited to report that we also have shoelace tying children in the house now, too. Andy and I decided that even though we live in a world of velcro, that it's important to know how to tie shoelaces. So I cut out the silly little plasctic string that came in Daniels' shoes and laced them with some from one of my old pairs of shoes. We sat down on Thursday and showed them how to do it and now they are doing it themselves. They say, "I found the shoe tying magic in my fingers mom!" Why did I put that in the homeschool post? Because Daniel and Adalynn have asked me if I could record them doing a commercial on how to find your shoe tying finger magic. When they are done I am going to try to post it on here so watch for their commercial.

Daniel has become interested in space and earth. So we have been looking up the solar system and other things on nasa's website. They actually have a really good website geared for kids. Daniel has already built a rocket out of his legos.........

Adalynn has become my coloring crazy girl. She has really been enjoying coloring and is getting quite good at it. She also has started to play bank with an old computer we have. Why the bank? I don't know.
