Elk Harvest 2008

Andy was really excited to get a bull elk with his bow, at only 9 yards away, on a Monday morning at 8:04am! On Friday my kitchen transformed into a meat shop and we all cut, grind, and package the meat. Daniel and Adalynn like the aspect that they have "almost" free reign with a knife! Adalynn liked helping daddy make burger this year.

Woo Hoo, Congrats on the Elk! I know Rob is jealous! There are imported elk here, but only 80 permits per year issued for the state...blah. He is looking forward to turkey hunting with Gary this year. Gary is old enough to shoot a deer, without a permit...as long as Rob is with him, and has a valid permit.
